AP TET Notification 2024- Highlights

Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh is responsible for conducting the complete process for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET). The AP TET 2024 Exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for a candidate who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V and Paper 2 is for candidates intending to be teachers for Classes VI to VIII. AP TET Notification 2024 has been released online at https://aptet.apcfss.in. The candidates with minimum required education qualification can submit their AP TET Application Forms and online fee payment before 03rd August 2024.

AP TET 2024 Application Form

The online applications for the AP TET 2024 July Exam have been accepted at the official portal https://aptet.apcfss.in. However, the candidates are advised to submit their applications much before the last date arrives. The last date to apply online for the AP TET 2024 Exam is 03rd August 2024. Steps to Apply Online for AP TET 2024

Candidates can apply online for AP TET 2024 from the official website https://aptet.apcfss.in. Check the steps to apply online for the AP TET Exam from here.

1. Web browser and visit the official website Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh at https://aptet.apcfss.in.
2. Tab on the link that mentioned “Application – Click Here”.
3. A new page appears on the screen. Enter your Journal Number issued by Payment Gateway, the date
   of payment of fees, and Date of birth.
4. Upload your photograph and your signature in the prescribed format.
5. On submission of the online application form, the candidate will receive a reference ID number. This reference ID number should be kept carefully for future correspondence.
6. Save and AP TET 2024 Application form for future reference.

Application Fees

The fee for AP TET 2024 application submission and for the conduct of Computer Based Examination is Rs. 750/- for each paper. The fee is to be paid separately if applying for both papers. Candidates shall pay the fee through the online payment gateway before 16th July 2024.

AP TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring to apply online for the APTET July Exam 2024 should fulfill the required eligibility parameters in terms of educational qualification. There is no age limit to apply online for AP TET 2024.

Educational Qualification

The minimum qualifications prescribed for Paper – 1A, for Classes I to V, and Paper- 1B for Classes I to V in respect of Special Education Teachers. Paper-2A for classes VI to VIII and Paper-2B for classes VI to VIII in respect of Special Education Teachers as given below.

For Primary Teacher Post/ Classes I to V (Paper – 1A)

1. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (or)
2. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure), Regulations, 2002 (Note: This will be applicable for the candidates who possess a qualification in between 2002 to 2011) (or)
3. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) (or)
4. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (or)
5. Graduation with at least 50% marks and two-year diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

For Upper Primary Teachers Post/ Classes I to V in Special Schools (Paper – 1 B)

1. Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Two year D.Ed. Special Education in any of the category of disability (or)
2. One year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any of the category of disability. (or)
3. Diploma in Community-Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 06 month Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (or)
4.  Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
5. Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
6.  Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf. (Or)
7.  Primary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment. (Or)
8. Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation – Mental Retardation (DVR-MR) / Diploma in Vocational Training and Employment – Mental Retardation (DVTE-MR) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
9.  Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
10.  Intermediate/ Senior Secondary passed with any RCI recognized qualification of minimum one year duration and 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs. (Or)
11. Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.

For Mathematics/ Physical Science /Biological Science/Social Studies /Language Teacher Post/ Classes I to V (Paper – 2 B)

1. At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post-Graduation with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
   (or)
2. Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE recognition norms and procedure Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. (or)
3.  Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) (or)
4. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year integrated B.A./B.Sc. or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. (or)
5.  Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education) (or)
6.  Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.

For Classes VI-VIII in Special Schools (Paper- 2B)

1. At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post-Graduation with
   B.Ed.(Special Education) (Or)
2.  B.Ed.(General) with one year Diploma in Special Education. (Or)
3.  B.Ed. (General) with two years Diploma in Special Education. (Or)
4.  B.Ed.(General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education (PGPD). (Or)
5.  B.Ed. Special Education and Post Graduate Professional Certificate in Special Education (PGPC). (Or)
6.  PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation). (Or)
7. PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability : Physical & Neurological). (Or)
8.  PG Diploma in Special Education (Loco motor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy). (Or)
9.  Secondary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment. (Or).
10.  Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf. (Or)
11.  BA B.Ed. in Visual impairment. (Or)
12. Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI

For  Language Teachers (Classes VI to VIII)

Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects (or) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (or) Graduation in Literature (or) Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed. with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.
