BPSC TRE 4.0 Notification 2026 Soon for 40,000 Teacher Vacancies

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released an official notice on 11th February 2026 regarding the publication of the notification for the School Teacher Competitive Examination (TRE 4.0). The announcement has brought relief among teaching aspirants across the state who are eagerly waiting for the next phase of teacher recruitment. The official BPSC TRE 4.0 Notification 2026 will be released between 15 and 20 February 2026 for 40,000 Teacher expected vacancies.

According to the official press note, BPSC has received requisitions through the General Administration Department for the appointment of school teachers under various departments. The vacancies include teaching posts for Classes 1 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 10, and 11 to 12 under the Education Department.

Additionally, requisitions have also been received for teacher and headmaster posts under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department, as well as for teacher and headmaster posts under the Backward and Extremely Backward Classes Welfare Department.

It is expected that a total of 40,000 vacancies for Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools, Primary and Middle Schools under BPSC TRE 4 Exam 2026. The vacancies will be recruited for Primary Teachers (Classes 1 to 5), Middle School Teachers (Classes 6 to 8), Secondary Teachers (Classes 9-10), and Senior Secondary Teachers (Classes 11-12) posts under the Educational Department and Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department in the state of Bihar.

BPSC TRE 4.0 Vacancy 2026 Selection Process

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct the BPSC TRE 4.0 Exam to recruit eligible candidates for Primary Teachers (Classes 1 to 5), Middle School Teachers (Classes 6 to 8), Secondary Teachers (Classes 9-10), and Senior Secondary Teachers (Classes 11-12) posts. The BPSC TRE 4.0 selection process 2026 comprises the following stages.

Stage 1 – Written Examination– The BPSC TRE 4.0 Exam 2026, 1st stage of the selection process is a written exam, which will be held in offline mode, including objective-type multiple-choice questions.

Stage 2 – Document Verification – Qualified candidates in the written exam will be called to appear for the document verification process, in which candidates’ certificates will be verified by the exam authority.
