AP TET Exam Date 2024 Out, Exam Schedule, Shift Timings

The Department of School Education, Government of AP is going to conduct the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) from 27th February to 09th March 2024 at the various exam centres and it will be held in two shifts. The exam date was released along with its notification pdf. The selection of the candidates for the AP TET Exam will consist of 02 papers. Paper 1 for primary teacher posts (class I to V) and Paper 2 for upper primary teacher posts (class VI to VIII). AP TET exam will be held in CBT mode and candidates who qualify for the examination will be eligible for appointment as a teacher in all schools of Andhra Pradesh (Government/ ZP/ MP/ Municipal/ Recognized Private Aided & Private Unaided etc.).

The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) is a state-level examination exam that is a way to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching Classes 1 to 8 in all schools of Andhra Pradesh. As per AP Notification PDF, The AP TET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from 27th February to 09th March 2024 in two shifts each day. The first shift is from 09: 30 am to 12: 00 pm and the second shift is from 2: 30 pm to 05: 00 pm. The AP TET Hall Ticket 2024 will be released on 23rd February 2024 on the official website of https://aptet.apcfss.in.

AP TET Exam Schedule 2024

The AP TET Computer-Based examination will be held from 27th February to 09th March 2024 in several exam centers in 24 districts in Andhra Pradesh except for Manyam and AlluriSita RamaRaju (ASR) districts. The CBT exam will be held in two shifts from 09: 30 am to 12: 00 pm and from 2: 30 pm to 05: 00 pm. The time duration of the exam will be 2 hrs. 30 minutes for each paper. All exam-related information including exam date, shift timing, exam center etc will be released along with the AP TET Hall Ticket 2024 on the official website of https://aptet.apcfss.in.

AP TET Exam Pattern 2024

It is the prior step to know the exam pattern, type of questions, topics included in the examination, and other details. AP TET Exam will be held for 2 papers. Paper 1 for the candidates who intend to teach classes I to V and Paper 2 for the candidates who intend to teach for Class for VI to III.   • The AP TET Exam will be in Computer-based mode.
  • The exam consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions
  • A total of 150 questions will be asked in the examination.
  • The time duration for the exam will be 150 minutes.
  • For each correct answer, 01 mark will be rewarded and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
