KEA Village Administrative Officer Exam Pattern 2026

Compulsory Kannada Language Test (150 marks — Qualifying Only)
- Separate MCQ paper, SSLC/10th-standard level
- Tests basic grammar, vocabulary, sentence formation, comprehension

- Purpose: ensures the ability to read/write Kannada for village revenue duties (Pahani, RTC records, local communication)
- Marks are not added to the final merit- pass/fail only
Written Examination
The written examination consists of two papers, each carrying 100 marks, and the time duration for each paper is 2 hours. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
