UGC NET Datesheet and Schedule 2026 Out for June Exam, Check Subject-wise Exam Dates

The wait is finally over for lakhs of aspirants across India with the release of detailed UGC NET schedule. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the UGC NET June 2026 Datesheet and Exam Schedule on its official website, www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) candidates will be able to check their subject-wise exam dates, shift timings and other important details.

UGC NET Exam Date 2026 Out

The UGC NET June 2026 exam will be conducted from 22nd to 30th June 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across various examination centres spread across India. The exam will be conducted on nine consecutive days to accommodate candidates appearing across 87 different subjects.

UGC NET June 2026 Shift Timing

UGC NET June Exam 2026 for different subjects will be conducted on different days and shifts. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours (180 minutes). There is no break between Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers are conducted in a single continuous session. From 22nd to 30th June, exams will be conducted in two shifts from 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm.

What are UGC NET Minimum Qualifying Marks?

Qualifying marks are the minimum eligibility marks only. Scoring qualifying marks does not guarantee selection. Candidates must still clear the subject-wise cut-off marks. The category-wise UGC NET Minimum Qualifying Marks are as follows:
