SSB Head Constable, ASI & Sub Inspector Exam Pattern 2026

This exam pattern is for the posts of Head Constables, Assistant Sub Inspectors, Head Constables as Laboratory Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistants, and Sub Inspector posts. In CBT, 150 objective-type questions are asked from two parts, which the candidates have to complete in 3 hours. Part 1 is for general subjects and Part 2 is for technical subject. Candidate gets +1 mark for a correct answer, but loses 0.25 mark for an incorrect answer. The SSB Head Constable Exam Pattern 2026 is given below:

SSB Constable Tradesman Exam Pattern 2026

This exam pattern is the same for the Constables in Tradesman and Nursing Assistant cum Medic posts. In the online exam, candidates have to complete 100 MCQs in 2 hours. For every correct answer, +1 mark, and for an incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. The questions are asked from 4 sections of General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mathematics, and Language papers.
