West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has released a notice regarding the exam date for Assistant Managers and Junior Engineers (Electrical). As per the notice, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on 27th January 2026 across various centers in the state of West Bengal. Candidates who have registered for the post will be able to download their WBSEDCL Admit Card 2026 on 19th January 2026 (Monday) from the official website, https://www.wbsedcl.in/.

The examination will be conducted for Assistant Manager and Junior Engineer in online mode for 447 vacancies. For Assistant Manager (HR&A and F&A), the exam will be conducted from 9:30 am to 11 am. For Junior Engineer (Electrical) Grade-II, the exam will be conducted in Shift 2 from 1 pm to 2:30 pm and Shift 3 from 4:30 pm to 6 pm. WBSEDCL JE & Assistant Manager Admit Card 2026 must be downloaded by candidates using their Registration Number and Date of Birth to appear for the exam.

The exam pattern for Junior Engineer and Assistant Manager (HR&A and F&A) is as follows:

• The examination has 85 questions from various subjects
• Each question carries 1 mark.
• Negative marking of 0.33 marks will be subtracted for each incorrect answer.
• The total duration of the examination is 90 minutes.
• The vernacular section will be conducted in Bengali or Nepali, while all other sections will be in English only.
