UP DElEd 2025 Eligibility Criteria

UP DElEd Eligibility Criteria 2025 outlines specific eligibility norms in terms of educational qualification and age limit that every candidate must fulfil before applying. Only candidates meeting all the mentioned criteria will be considered eligible to apply DElEd Entrance Exam 2025.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the High School and Intermediate (or equivalent) examination from institutions recognised by the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj / CBSE / ICSE and have completed a graduation degree from a university/college established by law and recognised by the UGC, with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ ST/OBC/PwD/ Dependents of Freedom Fighters / Ex-Servicemen (self) minimum marks – 45%).

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025)

To be eligible to apply online for UP D.El.Ed. (BTC) Training 2025 candidates’ minimum age should be 18 years, and maximum age should not be more than 35 years for the unserved category. The upper age limit for the other category will be provided as per government rules.

Steps to Apply Online for UP DElEd 2025

  1. Visit the official website of UP D.El.Ed the Examination Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh at https://updeled.gov.in/.
  2. On the homepage tab, on the link that reads “U.P.D.El.Ed. Registration”. Fill out the registration form by providing valid information such as name, mobile number, and email ID
  3. After successful submission, a Registration number is generated that will be used for future reference. For subsequent login, the system-generated Registration No. and Date of Birth will be used.
  4. Log in using your credentials and carefully fill out the application form by filling in Personal details, Educational information and Address and other required information.
  5. The candidate has to select Debit/Credit Card option to pay the fee and follow the instructions to complete the payment process. After successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the “Fill Complete Registration Form” to complete the Process.
  6. Uploading of scanned Photo, signature is mandatory for all candidates.
    Photographs: Size must be between 10 KB to 50 KB.
    Signature: Size must be between 5 KB to 20 KB
  7. Download and print the final submitted UP DElEd 2025 application form. Keep it safe for future use in counselling or the document verification process.

UP DElEd 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for D.El.Ed. Training 2025 will be done based on merit. There will be no entrance exam. Merit list will be prepared based on the total percentage of marks obtained by candidates in High School, Intermediate, and Graduation, as mentioned by the candidates in their application forms.

  • Merit List  – After the application process, the organising authority will publish the UP DElEd Merit List 2025 based on the total marks obtained by candidates in the academic exam
  • Choice Filling / Seat Preference – Shortlisted candidates have to participate in the Counselling process and log in, fill their preferred institutes/colleges from the list of participating institutions
  • Seat Allotment – Based on rank, preferences and availability of seats, allotment is done. Selected candidates then receive an offer for admission.
  • Document Verification & Final Admission – Post-allotment, candidates have to present with original certificates (age proof, graduation, caste, domicile, etc) at the institute. After verification and fee payment, admission is finalised.
