Physical Efficiency Test(PET)
Candidates who qualify in the written exam will undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to assess their physical fitness. This test is an essential part of the selection process and is designed to evaluate the endurance and strength required for the job. The PET will typically include the following components:
- Running (1.6 km in 10 min)
- Long Jump
- Push ups
Medical Examination
All selected candidates must undergo a medical test conducted by a Medical Board.
- Candidates’ documents and medical papers with photgrapgh will be checked.
- Each candidate will be examined by two doctors.
- The board will decide if a candidate is fit or unfit.
- Medical results will be sent to the Recruiting Section within 5 days.
Temporary Unfit:
- Medical reasons: Can appeal within 60 days; re-exam done by a specialist.
- Physical standards: Can improve weight/chest in 2 months; re-measurement allowed.
Permanently Unfit:
- Medical reasons: No further chance, candidature will be cancelled.
- Physical standards: No appeal for height deficiency and re-measurement on the same day possible.
