CBSE Recruitment Answer Key 2026 Out, Download Group A, B & C OMR Sheet PDFs

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released CBSE Group A, B, and C answer key, along with the scanned images of OMR Sheets for the Tier 1 exam on 12th February 2026 (today). The answer key has been uploaded at the recruitment page of the CBSE official website https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/recruitment.html, and a direct link is also shared in the article.

Candidates who appeared in the Tier 1 exam conducted to recruit eligible candidates for the 124 Group A, B, and C vacancies can download the answer key which will carry all the correct answers for the questions that were asked in the exam. Candidates can also raise objections if they find any incorrect answers in the provisional answer key from 12th to 14th February 2026.

Candidates can also calculate their tentative scores by comparing their marked answers with the correct ones that will be provided in the CBSE Group A, B & C Answer Key 2026 by using the correct marking scheme, i.e., for each correct answer, 3 marks will be rewarded and 1 mark shall be deducted for every incorrect answer.

1. Open the official website, www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/recruitment.html.
2. Now, on the home page, look for the text- “Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026”.
3. Candidates are redirected to a new page tab on the link that reads “Link for download Answer Key for Computer-Based Test for Direct Recruitment”.
4. Enter your login details, Registration Number, and password.
5. After the candidate enters the login details and the captcha or the number as mentioned in the Captcha to prove that they are not a robot.
6. CBSE Recruitment Answer Key 2026, along with the correct response, appears on the system screen.
7. Download the answer key and take a printout for future reference.

CBSE Group A, B & C Answer Key 2026 Raise Objection

The candidates also raise an objection if they find any incorrect answer in the provisional CBSE Recruitment Answer Key 2026. The raise objection window is active from 12th to 14th February 2026 (11:59 pm). Candidates should provide valid proof to justify their objections along with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000. After reviewing all the objections, the final answer key will be released.

CBSE Answer Key 2026 Marking Scheme

While calculating the tentative scores, candidates must use the correct marking scheme. In the Tier 1 exam, a total of 150 multiple-choice questions were asked for a total of 450 marks. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be rewarded and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

• Correct Answer: +3 Marks
• Incorrect Answer: -1 Mark
• Total: 450 Marks

How to Calculate Marks for CBSE Recruitment Tier-I Exam?

Candidates can calculate their estimated raw scores using the provisional answer key and their scanned OMR response sheet. Follow the simple steps below:

1. Compare each answer marked on your OMR sheet with the correct answer provided in the provisional answer key.
2. Count the total number of correct answers.
3. Count the total number of incorrect answers. Do not include unanswered questions in this count.
4. Apply the following formula:
