APPSC FBO ABO Application Fee 2025
Candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- towards application processing fee and Rs 80/- towards examination fee. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, BC & Ex-Servicemen, Unemployed youth, Families having a household supply white card issued by the Civil Supplies Department, A.P. Government, have to pay Rs. 250/- only.

How to Apply for APPSC Forest Officer Recruitment 2025?

Step 1: OTPR Application- Candidates applying for the time for APPSC Exams have to first fill out the OTPR application carefully to obtain an OTPR ID. While filling the OTPR, the candidate has to ensure that the particulars are filled correctly.
Step 2: Login- You will need your User Name (OTPR ID) and the Password to log in to the commission’s website. Then click on the fill application button against the notification (06/2025).
Step 3: Enter your Details: Now, candidates have to enter their details for education qualification, preferred exam centre, and other personal details. Then click on “Save & Submit”.
Step 4: Fee Payment: The next step is to pay the required application fee (as per your category) through online mode only. In any case, if there is any error in the payment process, then start the fresh payment process as mentioned in step 2.
Step 5: Submit Applications: Save and submit your duly filled application forms before due date.
APPSC FBO ABO Selection Process 2025
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has set the selection process in four stages for Forest Beat Officer (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officer (ABO)
- Screening Test: This is an offline written exam (qualifying) with multiple-choice questions.
- Main Written Examination: The second stage is an online computer-based exam and has three parts, General Studies & Mental Ability, General Science & General Mathematics and Essay writing
- Physical Measurements Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who pass the mains exam to be called for physical examination
- Document Verification: After clearing the physical test, candidates will have to present all their original documents in the verification process
APPSC FBO ABO Exam Pattern 2025
Screening Test: There will be two parts, Part A: General Studies and Mental Ability and Part B: General Science and General Mathematics
- All questions are multiple-choice (objective type).
- Each part carries 75 questions
- Each question is of 1 mark.
- ⅓ mark will be deducted for an incorrect attempt
