APPSC Forest Beat Officer Eligibility 2025
Candidates must fulfil the age and education requirements set by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission. Before applying for the APPSC Forest Beat Officer (FBO) Exam, candidates must go through these requirements. - Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (12th class) exam or any equivalent exam.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age.
APPSC FBO Selection Process 2025
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has set the selection process in four stages for Forest Beat Officer (FBO), Assistant Beat Officer (ABO), and Forest Section Officer (FSO)
- Screening Test: This is an offline written exam (qualifying) with multiple-choice questions.
- Main Written Examination: The second stage is an online computer-based exam and has three parts, General Studies & Mental Ability, General Science & General Mathematics and Essay writing
- Physical Measurements Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who pass the mains exam to be called for physical examination
- Document Verification: After clearing the physical test, candidates will have to present all their original documents in the verification process
APPSC Forest Beat Officer Exam Pattern 2025
Screening Test: There will be two parts, Part A: General Studies and Mental Ability and Part B: General Science and General Mathematics
- All questions are multiple-choice (objective type).
- Each part carries 75 questions
- Each question is of 1 mark.
- ⅓ mark will be deducted for an incorrect attempt

Main Examination:
- The first paper is an essay writing test, and it is qualifying in nature
- The second and third papers are objective-based questions
- Paper 1 is of 50 marks.
- Paper 2 and Paper 3 are for 100 marks each.
- For every wrong answer, ⅓ of the marks will be deducted
