WB TET Exam Date 2023 Out
West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) conducts the Teacher Eligibility Test to recruit candidates to teach in schools in West Bengal. Following the National Council for Teachers’ Education (NCTE) guidelines, the West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WB TET) is conducted on a state-level exam once a year.
As per the new WB TET Exam Date Notice No. 2259/WBBPE/2023, the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has rescheduled the WB Primary TET Exam 2023 for 24th December 2023 (Sunday). Candidates are advised to prepare the subjects according to WB TET Exam Date 2023. The WB TET 2023 written exam duration will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Step 1- Visit the official website of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) at www.wbbpe.org.
Step 2- Visit the homepage and click “TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST 2023 (TET-2023)” to get the latest information.
Step 3- Read the notice for the Application Form Dates and Eligibility Standards Components.
Step 4- Open the link by selecting the Application for Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 (TET-2023) and clicking on it.
Step 5- Candidates have to open the official website and log in through Email Id and Mobile Number then fill the OTP for login and click on the submit button.
Step 6- Fill in your name, DOB, father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number, and email address, among other things.
Step 7- You will be required to pay the application fee online.

WB TET 2023 Exam Language
WB Primary TET 2023 will be in 2 languages where in 1st language is to be chosen on the basis of the medium of instruction in the school and 2nd language is English.
Options for First Language- Candidates have to choose 1 language out of Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali, Santhali, Oriya and Telugu.
Second Language- There is no choice for 2nd language as English is mandatory for all candidates.
