On 6th November 2025, the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) released a notice about the Constable written exam date and the PET/PST schedule for Sub-Inspector recruitment. WBP SI Physical Dates 2025 Out
WBPRB has officially announced the WBP Exam Date 2025 for the Sub-Inspector (SI) posts. This exam will select both male and female candidates for a total of 464 vacancies in the Armed and Unarmed Branches. As part of the selection process, candidates have to appear for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which is scheduled to start from 17th November 2025 onwards.
WBP Constable Exam Date 2025
There are 11749 vacancies notified for Constables for which the WBP Constable Exam 2025 will be conducted on 30th November 2025. The hall ticket has been released on 9th November 2025 on the official websites of the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (https://prb.wb.gov.in) and the West Bengal Police (https://wbpolice.gov.in).
WB Police Constable Written Exam Pattern 2025
The written exam will be in MCQ format (Bengali and Nepali languages) and will carry 85 marks in total.
- 1 mark will be added for each correct attempt.
- 0.25 mark will be subtracted for each wrong answer.
- The total duration of the exam is 1 hour

WBP Sub Inspector Physical Test 2025
PMT and PST are stages WB Police SI Exam 2025. The PMT checks whether candidates meet the required height, weight, and chest measurements. The Physical Efficiency Test checks the physical fitness and endurance of candidates through a Race within the time limit.
