WBP Constable Selection Process 2024
As a large number of applications are received by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB), the authorities have made the selection of eligible candidates easier by following a four-stage selection process. Candidates passing each stage of the selection process i.e. written exam, physical efficiency test, physical measurement test, and interview are considered to be selected for the posts of WBP Constable.

Stage II | Physical Measurement Test (PMT) | Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be called for PMT. The height, weight, and chest measurements of candidates are evaluated at this stage. |
Stage III | Physical Efficiency Test (PET) | After passing the PMT round, candidates have to appear for the PET round. In this stage, the physical fitness of the candidates for the relevant posts is evaluated. |
Stage IV | Interview | The final stage is the interview round. After clearing all the previous stage, selected candidates will be called for a personal interview and the questions based on the general knowledge and the relevant posts are asked for their final selection. |
WBP Constable Exam Pattern 2024

- There will be a total of 85 objective-type questions.
- The WBP Constable exam question paper will be in Nepali & Bengali language.
- Candidates will be rewarded 1 mark for each correct answer and 1/4 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- The total duration of the exam is 60 minutes (1 hour).
