- The minimum age for candidates in all categories must be 18 years.
- The maximum age for general category candidates is 25 years. For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC Non-Creamy Layer), and the differently-abled candidates, a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit will be allowed.
- The duration of the apprenticeship training will be 1 year.
