UGC NET Result Date 2025-26 Out, Score Card and Cut-Off by 4 February

National Test Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the UGC NET December Session Exam on 31st December 2025, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th January 2026. UGC NET Result 2025-26 Result and Score Card is scheduled to be released by 4th February 2026 as per an update shared by NTA on their X Handel. Along with result the subject-wise and category wise cut off marks will also be released at www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

For all those candidates who participated in the UGC NET Computer-Based Test (CBT) exam, the UGC NET December Result 2025 will be released online at the official website www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The candidates who have been declared qualified in the exam will be issued a UGC NET Certificate.

UGC NET Result will be released in Score Card form, including marks obtained by candidates in Paper 1 and Paper 2, overall scores, and qualifying status. Steps to Check UGC NET December Result 2025-26

The UGC NET Result 2025-26 will be released at the official website www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in. To check their results, candidates can follow the steps provided below.

1. Visit the official website of the National Test Agency (NTA), i.e., www.ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
2. Click on the link that says UGC NET December 2025- Click here for Scorecard on the homepage.
3. Enter your login credentials, which include your application number, date of birth, and the captcha code displayed on the screen.
4. Click on the “Submit” button.
5. Your UGC NET 2026 Result and Scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
6. Download the scorecard and print it out for future reference.

UGC NET Cut Off 2026

Along with the release of the UGC NET Result, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the UGC NET Cut Off 2026 at the official website www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The cut-off marks will be released category-wise and subject-wise for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

UGC NET Certificate Validity

UGC NET certification for Assistant Professor will be valid for a lifetime, and candidates will be eligible to apply for the Assistant Professor position in Indian Universities and Colleges. The JRF award letter is valid for three years from the date of issue and is eligible to pursue research (typically a PhD) and receive a fellowship grant.
