Railway RRB Group D Exam Date 2026 Out, CBT Exam Starts From 3rd August

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released an official notice announcing the tentative schedule for the RRB Group D Computer-Based Test (CBT) for various level 1 posts under CEN No. 09/2025. As per the notice dated 3rd July 2026, the CBT will be conducted from 3rd to 21st August 2026. This exam will decide the selection of candidates for 22,195 Level-1 vacancies across Indian Railways.

The tentative schedule for candidates who have applied for CEN 09/2025 Level 1 exam has been announced through an official RRB notice. The CBT Exam will be conducted on multiple days in multiple shifts starting from 3rd August 2026, with the last exam scheduled for 21st August 2026. 1. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the tentative CBT schedule of CEN 09/2025.
2. The link for viewing the Exam City & Date and downloading the Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates will be activated about 10 days before the date of the exam of each candidate on the official websites of all RRBs.
3. Downloading of E-Call Letters (admit cards) will commence approximately 4 days before the date of examination as mentioned in the Exam City and Date intimation link.
4. At the exam centre, you will have to undergo Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication to enter the exam hall.

Aadhaar-Linked Biometric Authentication

Biometric authentication will be done before entering and it is mandatory. Candidates failing to do so, will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

• Carry the original Aadhaar card or printout of e-verified Aadhaar with you to enter the exam centre.
• Candidates are advised to complete the Aadhaar authentication if not done already by logging in with their credentials at www.rrbapply.gov.in to ensure smooth entry in the examination centre.
• Candidates who have verified their Aadhaar at the time of application submission are also advised to ensure that their Aadhaar remains unlocked in the UIDAI system before reaching the exam centre as a locked Aadhaar may result in avoidable delays or complications on the day of exam.
