Tripura TET Notification 2024-25 Overview

The Tripura TET notification provides detailed information on eligibility criteria, important dates, exam patterns, and application procedures. Tripura TET Notification 2024-25 Important Dates 

The Tripura TET has announced the dates for its 2024 eligibility test. Candidates must ensure they follow the timeline carefully to apply successfully. Admit cards will be available for download from 02nd April 2025 to 16th April 2025 and the exam will be held in two phases: Paper-I on 20th April 2025(Sunday) and Paper-II on 27th April 2025 (Sunday).

Tripura TET Exam Date 2024-25

The Tripura TET exam is scheduled as follows: Paper I will take place on 20th April 2025 and Paper II on 27th April 2025. Both exams will be held from 12:00 Noon to 2:30 PM. Please note that entry into the exam center will close at 11:00 AM, so candidates must arrive well in advance to ensure timely entry.

2. On the homepage, find the “Tripura TET” link. Click on it to access detailed information about the exam.
3. Carefully go through the entire notification to understand essential details, including important dates, exam schedules, eligibility criteria, and other instructions.
4. Once you are familiar with the details, click on the “Apply Online” button to start filling out your application form.
5. Pay the applicable fee using online payments(UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking etc.)
6. When all this process is completed, submit the application form and print a copy for your record.

Tripura TET Application Fee 2024-25

The application fee, which varies for different categories, must be paid by all candidates through online payment methods such as credit/debit cards, net banking, or the SBI gateway. Tripura TET Eligibility Criteria 2024-25

All the candidates appearing for the Tripura TET exam must meet the educational qualification criteria mentioned by the exam authority only then they can fill out the application form. Those educational qualifications are as follows.

Tripura TET Paper 1
TET Paper 1 is for those who are interested in becoming teachers of class I-V. They must meet the eligibility criteria given below.

• Candidates must have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks as well as 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name) as per NCTE Regulations 2002 or 1 year Diploma in Education for the academic session up to 2004-05.
• Also candidates should have 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with at least 50% marks.
• Candidates should have 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).
• Candidates should have Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1 year Diploma in Education for the academic session upto 2004-05) by any name.
• B.ED candidates with 50% marks can also participate in this exam

Tripura TET Paper-2 

Paper 2 is for those candidates who can teach students from class 6 to 8. The eligibility criteria for these candidates is as follows.

• For Tripura TET Paper 2, candidates must have a graduation degree with 3-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Along with this, graduation with minimum 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is also required
• Graduation with minimum 45% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations applicable.
• If a candidate has Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree, then he/she is qualified in this eligibility criteria.
• Candidates of Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and 4-year BA / B.Sc. Ed or BA. Ed / B.Sc. Ed are also eligible to appear in this exam.
• Candidates having graduation with minimum 50% marks and Bachelor of Education in Special Education (B.Ed.) also fit in this eligibility criteria.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories are provided relaxation upto 5% in qualifying marks.

Tripura TET Exam Pattern

The T-TET Paper-I and Paper-II question papers will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, based on the relevant subjects and there will be no negative marking. The question papers will be available in both English and Bengali, except for language-specific papers. However, all OMR answer sheets and related instructions will be provided exclusively in English. In the event of any discrepancies or confusion between the English and Bengali versions of the question paper, the English version will be considered final and authentic.

Paper 1 For T-TET(primary stage)

The T-TET Paper-I is designed for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to V. The examination will have a total duration of 2.5 hours and will include five compulsory sections. Each section comprises 30 questions, carrying one mark each, making the total 150 marks. Below is the structure of the exam:
