The Bihar Technical Service Commission has notified a total of 53 vacancies for the post of Insect Collector (कीट संग्रहकर्ता) on the official website www.btsc.bihar.gov.in. The BTSC Insect Collector Exam Date 2025 has been announced on 11th March 2025. The exam has been scheduled from 14th April 2025 onwards to be conducted through online mode. BTSC Insect Collector Exam Pattern 2025

The BTSC Insect Collector exam will be held in online mode for 100 marks. The syllabus will be prepared by the Bihar School Examination Board. 1 mark will be given for each correct answer, and there will be negative marking; 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. 50 questions will be asked from biology.

Qualifying Marks

The exam will be held in more than one shift, so the result will be prepared by adopting the normalization process. In the BTSC Insect Collector written exam, general candidates have to get 40%, the backward class has to get 36.5%, the extremely backward class has to get 34%, and SC/ST/Women/PWD candidates have to get 32% marks to qualify.
