SSC JE Exam Slot Selection 2025 Link Reopened, Book Your Exam City, Date & Shift

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has reopened the SSC JE Exam Slot Booking 2025 window on 25th November 2025 in the candidate portal at www.ssc.gov.in for candidates who haven’t selected their details previously. The candidates who haven’t submitted their options for the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Examination 2025 can now select their preferred exam date, shift, and exam city from the choices made during the registration process.

Through SSC JE (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) Examination, 2025, this year 1731 vacancies will be recruited. SSC JE Paper-I will be conducted from 3rd to 6th December 2025; however, confirmed dates are yet to be announced. The slot selection window has been re-opened till 28th November 2025. In case, the candidates don’t make choice, they will not be alloted with admit cards.

SSC JE 2025 Slot Booking: How to Choose the Best Exam Date, City & Shift

1. Visit the official website of Staff Selection Commission, www.https://ssc.gov.in.
2. Log in using your credentials, go to “My Application”.
3. Click on Select City, Exam Date, and Shift.
4. Read the guidelines carefully before proceeding to SSC JE Exam Slot Booking 2025.
5. Now select a preferred exam date and click Get Slot Details. The system will show available slots (date and shift) for the three cities chosen during the application.
6. If slots are available, shifts will appear with a green “Select” symbol.
7. If unavailable, “Not Available” will be displayed, and the candidate may select an alternative date or city.
8. You have to know confirm the choice by entering the OTP which is received to the registered mobile number or email ID) and click on “Validate”.

What After the SSC JE Slot Selection 2025?

After the slot selection, SSC releases the SSC JE  Exam City Intimation Slips and admit card. The slip will include details about the exam centre, exam date, and shift allotted based on the candidate’s slot selection. Following the city intimation slips, the official SSC JE Admit cards will be available 3-4 days before the exam date.
