SSC GD 2025 Exam Pattern
The candidates preparing for SSC GD Constable Exam must be aware of the exam pattern, marking scheme, and other details for exam.
- Questions are asked from General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and General English/ Hindi.
- Each section consists of 20 multiple-choice questions.
- For each correct answer, 2 marks will be allotted.
- A negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- The minimum qualifying marks for the General category is 30%, for OBC/EWS is 25%, and for all other categories is 20%.

SSC GD Constable Salary Structure
As a General Duty Constable for all posts will start with a monthly salary of Rs. 23,527, with the starting basic pay being Rs. 21,700. The maximum basic pay for GD Constables can go up to Rs. 69,100. The salary for a Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is as per pay level 1 and ranges between Rs. 18,000 to 56,900. Besides the basic pay, the GD Constable will also be paid with other allowances and benefits.
