The Steel Authority of India Limited follows a selection process for the selection of candidates for the posts of Operator-cum-Technician Trainee which involves two stages i.e. a computer-based test of 100 questions and document verification.

SAIL Recruitment 2024 Salary

After passing both stages of the SAIL Recruitment 2024 selection process, selected candidates have to serve a probation or training period for 2 years. Candidates under the training period will also get a lucrative salary i.e. Rs 16,100/- in the first year and Rs. 18,300/- for the second year. The training period of the SAIL OCTT employees could be increased further for another 2 years.
Once the training period of the OCTT employees is over, they are considered to be regular employees of Steel Authority of India Limited. The salary that an employee receives after the final selection as Operation-cum-Technician Trainee ranges from Rs. 26,600-3% to Rs. 38920/-.
