RVUNL Technician Vacancy 2025

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) has increased the RVUNL Technician Vacancy to 2163 from 216. Candidates can refer to the table below to check how many additional vacancies have been added to each company for RVUNL Technician Recruitment 2025. RVUNL Technician Recruitment 2025 Eligibility

To apply for RVUNL Technician Vacancy 2025, candidates must have an ITI certificate (NCVT/SCVT) or a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the related trade. The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 28 years. Candidates who have already applied must submit their Aadhaar card details for verification. If they don’t do this, their application will be cancelled. Candidates can read the educational and age criteria and know whether they are eligible for RVUNL Technician 3 Recruitment 2025 or not.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the Secondary (10th) from RBSE, CBSE, or any equivalent board. Along with that, they must have ITI (NCVT/SCVT) or NAC in the relevant trade (based on the post and company).

• Technician 3 (Group-I): Electrician / Power Electrician / Wireman
• Operator 3 (Group-II): Electronics Mechanic / COPA (Computer Operator & Programming Assistant)
• Plant Attendant 3 (Group-III): Boiler Attendant / Steam Turbine-cum-Auxiliary Plant Operator

JVVNL

• Technician-III (Group-IV): Welder (Gas & Electric) / Fitter, Electrician / Power Electrician / Wireman / Lineman / SBA

Candidates with ITI/NAC in Electrician, Power Electrician, or Wireman can apply for both RVUN and JVVNL. Those who are in the final year/semester of ITI/NAC can apply for RVUNL Technician Vacancy 2025.

Age Criteria (1/1/2026)

Candidates must be between 18 to 28 years of age as of 1 January 2026. However, due to delays in recruitment in previous years, the upper age limit is relaxed as follows:

• For RVUN: Up to 31 years
• For JVVN, AVVN & JdVVN: Up to 30 years

Steps to Apply for RVUNL Technician Recruitment 2025

3. Left thumb impression (on white paper, using black or blue ink)
4. Handwritten declaration (on white paper with black ink) — use the exact text given below.
5. Signatures written in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.

• The handwritten declaration:”(Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
• The declaration must be handwritten by you only, in English. If someone else writes it or if it is in another language, your application will be rejected.
• You must have a valid personal email ID and mobile number.
• Go to the official website and click on “APPLY ONLINE” to open the application form.
• To register, click “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and enter your name, contact details, and email ID.
• You will get a Registration Number and Password on the screen, by email, and SMS.
• Before submitting, verify all your details. After you click “FINAL SUBMIT,” you cannot make any changes.
• Make sure your name and your father’s/husband’s name are exactly as written on your certificates and ID proof. Any mistakes may lead to rejection.
• Click “Validate your details” and “SAVE AND NEXT” to save your application.
• Upload your photo, signature, thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per the instructions.
• Click on the ‘Payment’ tab, pay the application fee and submit to complete the application.

Important Instructions for New & Registered Candidates

As the recruitment process for Technician, Operator, and Plant Attendant will reopen, the RVUNL has shared the guidelines for New and Registered candidates

For Registered Candidates

• Candidates who successfully submitted their applications will not apply again.
• But, your application will be considered valid, only If,

1. You submit your Aadhaar card details (a link for this will be given on the official websites).
2. If you do not submit Aadhaar details, your application will be cancelled.

• You will be allowed to change your preferences for the different Vidyut Nigams.

1. If you are from the TSP (Tribal Sub-Plan) area of Rajasthan, you have to must submit proof.
2. If not submitted, your application will be treated under Non-TSP area vacancies.

New Candidates

• New candidates must register and submit a new online application through the official websites.
• The application link will be available in second week of September 2025.

RVUNL Technician Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The Selection Process for Technicians, Operators, and Plant Attendants consists of three stages:

• Preliminary Examination: This is a screening test; candidates have to qualify only.
• Mains Examination: Final selection will be based on marks scored in the Main Exam
• Document Verification: In this stage, candidates have to present their original documents

RVUNL Technician Exam Pattern 2025

There will be two stages through which the candidate’s knowledge will be tested, there will be different question papers for different groups:

• Group-I of RVUN and Technician-III (ITI) of JVVN will have a common exam.
• Separate exams for Group-II, Group-III, and Group-IV of RVUN.

Prelims (Screening Test)

There will be 100 questions asked from the General Awareness and Technical Parts.

• Each question carries 1 mark
• There will be no negative marking
• The duration of the exam is 90 minutes

Mains

There are 150 questions asked from various subjects, as mentioned in the table

• Each question carries 1 mark
• No negative marking
• The total time allotted for the exam is 120 minutes

RVUNL Technician Salary Structure 2025

Selected candidates will be recruited as Probationer Trainees for 2 years; during this period, they will get a fixed salary of Rs. 13500. After the completion of probation, the salary will be Rs. 19200 per month under Level 4 as per the company’s Rules.
