RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Date 2026 Out (Official Notice), Check CEN 01/2025 Stage 2 Exam Schedule

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official notice on 1st July 2026 regarding RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam for ALP CEN 01/2025 Exam. As per the official schedule, the CBT 2 exam for 158705 CBT 1 qualified candidates will take place on a single day on 28th July 2026.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) announced 10970 vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilots posts for which the 1st stage of the selection process i.e. RRB ALP CBT 1 was already conducted. After the declaration of RRB ALP CBT 1 Result, the shortlisted candidates have to appear for CBT 2 Exam, which has been scheduled for a single day on 28th July 2026. The reporting time of candidates at the examination centre is 7:30 am (1st Shift) and 12:30 pm (2nd Shift).

The RRB ALP Exam Date for the 2nd stage of the Computer-Based Test (CBT – II) for Assistant Loco Pilot posts (CEN No. 01/2025) has been officially announced, for which the official notice has also been released.

The city intimation slips will be released 10 days before the scheduled exam, and the admit cards will be released 4 days before the exam date.

The RRB ALP 2025 2nd stage of the CBT exam will be conducted for all those candidates who were declared qualified in the CBT 1 exam. The RRB ALP 2nd stage of Computer Based Exam consists of 2 papers. Paper 1 consists of a total of 100 MCQ-based questions on topics from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, General Awareness, and Current Affairs. In Paper 2, a total of 75 questions will be asked from the Relevant Trade. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. In the CBT 2 exam, a negative mark of ⅓ will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
