PSSSB Clerk Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who wish to become a Clerk in the Punjab Government must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements. The PSSSB eligibility requirements are based on parameters like age limit & educational qualification.
Educational Qualifications

Clerk Posts
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
- Computer/IT Qualification: Must have a 120-hour course with hands-on experience in using computers for office productivity or desktop publishing from a government-recognised or
- Computer/IT course equivalent to ‘O’ Level certificate (DOEACC), Government of India.
Typing Test:
- Must qualify a Punjabi typing test (Unicode compliant font Raavi) and English typing test at 30 words per minute before appointment.

- Full-time BCA, B.Sc IT, or B.Sc Computer Science degree from a recognized university or institution.

PSSSB Clerk Exam Pattern 2025
The exam pattern for Clerk and Clerk IT posts is as follows:
The test will be conducted in two parts (Part A & Part B):
- Part A: Punjabi language (10th standard level), qualifying in nature. Candidates must secure at least 50% marks to pass.
- Part B: Subject-specific paper
Part B will be a total of 120 marks, carrying 120 questions. Here are some points below along with a table providing the details for PSSSB Clerk Exam Pattern 2025.
- The PSSSB Clerk Written Examination will include 120 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ).
- Each question will carry 1 mark in the PSSSB Written Exam.
- For the wrong answers, there is no negative marking in the exam. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
- The total duration of the Clerk Exam is 2 hours/120 minutes.
