NFSU Recruitment 2026- Selection Process
The selection process for NFSU Recruitment 2026 includes the following stages: Screening Test (if required) for shortlisting candidates; Interview for senior-level positions; and Written Test and/or Skill Test for Junior Scientific Officer, Laboratory Assistant, and Non-Academic posts.
For Senior Technical Posts (Posts 1–5: Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Senior Scientific Officer): Selection will be based on the candidate’s overall academic record, professional experience, research contributions, and performance in a Personal Interview.
For Junior Technical Posts (Posts 6–8: JSO & Laboratory Assistant): Selection for JSO and Laboratory Assistant posts will be through a Written Test and/or Skill Test.
For Non-Academic Posts (Section Officer, Deputy Section Officer, Assistant): Selection will be through a Written Test and/or Skill Test, and a Screening Test may be conducted to shortlist candidates if applications are received in large numbers.
Final Stage — Document Verification: All candidates who qualify for the above stages will be called for document verification. Final selection will be based on merit and successful document verification.
NFSU Recruitment 2026 Pay Scale
The salary structure is based on Pay Levels under the 7th CPC (Central Pay Commission). All selected candidates will be appointed on a probation period of 2 years. In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will receive benefits like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and other admissible benefits as per government rules.
