Karnataka TET 2025 Exam- Overview

Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) consists of 2 papers. Paper I is conducted for candidates who have been looking forward to becoming teachers for Classes 1 to 5, and Paper II is conducted for candidates who aspire to become teachers for Classes 6 to 8.

KARTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification for Paper I

• PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
• PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

KARTET 2025 Application Fee

To complete to KARTET Application Form 2025, candidates have to pay an application fee. A candidate belonging to either the General or OBC category is required to pay Rs. 700/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 1000/- (if applying for both papers).
