Karnataka TET 2025 Exam Date Out

The Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) is scheduled for 7th December 2025 (Sunday). Paper 1 exam will be held in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12 noon, and Paper 2 will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Further details regarding the exam will be released along with the admit cards.

KARTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test- 2025 for Paper-I (for teaching classes 1 to 5) and Paper-II (for teaching classes 6 to 8), candidates must go through the detailed KARTET Notification 2025 to ascertain their eligibility for the exam.

Educational Qualification for Paper I

  • PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
  • PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
