With over 11 lakh applicants competing for 7,565 probationary officer/management trainee vacancies, the exam is being conducted across two days (22 and 23 August) in a total of 6 shifts, which means competition will be high. This section had 35 questions. The overall reasoning section was of easy to moderate difficulty as per our IBPS PO exam analysis conducted by experts. There were 5 sets of puzzles and seating arrangements asked.

IBPS PO 2026 Exam Structure
The exam consists of 100 questions from 3 sections, and this year, the sectional marks have been reshuffled even though the question count per section is unchanged. Candidates are given 60 minutes (20 minutes per section) to complete the exam.

The exam is scheduled for a total 6 shifts on 22nd and 23rd August. Today, the exam will be held in 4 shifts and on 23rd August, there shall be 2 shifts only.
