CSIR NET Raise Objection Link 2025
Candidates who identify discrepancies or have objections to any answers in the provisional key can challenge the answer key from 1st to 3rd August 2025. Along with the objection, candidates have to pay a non-refundable Rs. 200/- per question. The fee will be paid online through Credit Card, Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI payment mode. After reviewing the challenges, the NTA will publish the final answer key.

Steps to Raise Objections to CSIR NET Answer Key 2025
- Go to the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) at https://csirnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the link that reads “Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2025 – Click Here to Answer Key Challenge”.
- A new login page appears on the screen. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth. Enter your Security PIN as displayed, then click on the submit button.
- Click on “View Question Paper” for marked responses and to view or challenge the Answer keys.
- You will see Question IDs in sequential order.
- The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA.
- If candidates want to challenge this option, they may use any one or more of the Option IDs given
- In the next four columns, by clicking the check box.
- After clicking your desired option, scroll down to ‘Save your Claims’ and move to the next.
- You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.
- You may want to upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents are to be put in a single PDF file only)
- Click on ‘Save your Claims and pay fee’ or, in case you want to modify the claims, click on ‘Modify your Claims’.
- After saving the claims, you will find a screen displaying your challenges.
- Kindly pay the fee by clicking on ‘Pay Fee. ’
- The claims will be saved after the successful payment of the required fee.
- Select your Mode of Payment and pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200/- for each question challenged.
CSIR UGC NET Marking Scheme
The CSIR UGC NET exam consists of multiple-choice questions. The exam is worth a total of 200 marks for each paper. This exam has different subjects with different numbers of questions. However, there is a penalty for wrong answers: 25% of the marks for each incorrect question will be deducted, and this penalty can be as high as 33% in some sections. This system is designed to discourage guessing and ensure that only accurate answers contribute to your final score.
