RSSB Lab Assistant Answer Key 2026
A total of 934,735 candidates filled out the forms, out of which 7 lakh candidates appeared in the exam for 804 lab assistant and junior laboratory assistant posts. The answer key includes the correct answer to all the questions asked in the exam. Candidates will also be provided an opportunity to make objections, if any, within the stipulated time.

According to the attendance data, 302,129 candidates appeared (76.43%) on 1st day of the exam. For the 2nd day of the exam, around 3.75 lakh candidates appeared (72%+).

How to Raise Objection Against Answer Key?
Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) will provide an opportunity to raise objections in the answer key within a specific date that will be notified by officials. If candidates find any discrepancies in the answer key, they can object within the specified time frame. Along with the application, candidates have to submit appropriate proof. Once all the objections are verified, a final answer key is released.
How to Calculate Marks Using Lab Assistant Answer Key?
- Assign a mark for each correct answer.
For Science Subject – 2 mark
For Geography Subject – 1 mark - As there is negative marking, deduct 1/3rd of a mark for each incorrect answer.
- Add the marks for all correct answers and subtract marks for each incorrect answer to get your estimated score.
Total Marks = Number of Correct Answers × 1 / 2 – Number of Incorrect Answers × 1/3 of the Mark
RSSB Lab Assistant Answer Key 2026- Minimum Qualifying Marks
To qualify in the exam and have their answer sheets considered for checking, candidates will have to obtain the category-wise qualifying marks fixed by the Commission. Check category-wise minimum qualifying marks as follows:
- SC/ST – 35%
- Others – 40%
RSSB Lab Assistant Expected Cut Off 2026
The official cut-off marks for the RSSB Lab Assistant Exam will be released along with the results. Till than, candidates can check the expected cut off marks.

What’s Next After RSSB Lab Assistant Answer Key 2026?
After reviewing all valid objections, the board will publish the final answer key. No further challenges are accepted after the release of the final answer key. Based on this final key, the RSSB Lab Assistant results are expected to be announced in June/July 2026 with roll numbers/names of qualified candidates. Along with the results, RSSB will release the category-wise cut-off marks. Candidates who score above the cut-off will be included in the Merit List.
