National Test Agency (NTA) has released the answer key for the Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Examination on 30th December 2025. A total of 212552 candidates who participated in the CBT exam can now download the CSIR NET Answer Key 2025 from the official website by using their Application Number and Password. Candidates can also submit objection if any, till 01st January 2026 by paying Rs. 200/- per question.

The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Examination was conducted on 18th December 2025 in computer-based mode across India. The answer key and individual response sheet are now available at the official website of the  National Testing Agency (NTA). Steps to download the CSIR NET Answer Key 2025

Candidates can download their answer key from the CSIR NET official website at www.csirnet.nta.nic.in by following the step-by-step process.

1. Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) at www.csirnet.nta.nic.in.
2. On the homepage, look for the “Latest News” section.
3. Candidates find a link to download the “Joint CSIR NET December 2025 – Click Here to Answer Key Challenge.” Click on that link.
4. Candidates are redirected to a new page. Here, candidates need to log in by entering their application number and date of birth.
5. Enter the Security Pin as shown in the image and click on the Submit tab.
6. After successfully logging in, the answer key appears on the screen.
7. Download the answer key and calculate your estimated score.

CSIR NET Answer Key December 2025: Raise Objection

The National Testing Agency (NTA) also provides a facility to raise objections to the candidates if they are not satisfied with the Answer Key. Candidates can raise objections and submit a challenge to the CSIR NET December Answer Key 2025 from 30th December 2025 to 1st January 2026, along with the non-refundable processing challenge fee of Rs. 200/- per question. The processing fee will be paid online through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking, and the challenge without receipt of the processing fee will not be accepted.

Steps to Raise Objections to CSIR NET December Answer Key 2025

1. Go to the official website National Testing Agency (NTA) at https://csirnet.nta.ac.in.
2. Click on the link that reads “Joint CSIR UGC NET Answer Key Challenge Open Click Here.”
3. A new login page appears on the screen. Enter your Application Number and Password, enter your Security PIN as displayed, then click on the submit button.
4. Click on “View Question Paper” for marked responses and to view or challenge the Answer keys. Click on the link “Click to view /Challenge Answer Key”.
5. You will see Question IDs in sequential order.
6. The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA.
7.  If candidates want to challenge this option, they may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.
8. After clicking your desired option, scroll down, ‘Save your Claims’ and move to next screen.
9. You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.
10. You may want to upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents are to be put in a single PDF file only).
11. Click on ‘Save your Claims and pay fee’ or in case to modify the claims, click on ‘Modify your Claims’.
12. After saving the claims, you will find a screen displaying your challenges.
13. Kindly pay the fee by clicking on ‘Pay Fee’. The claims will be saved finally after successful payment of a required fee.
14. Select Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200/- for each question challenged.

UGC NET December Answer Key 2025 Marking Scheme

The CSIR NET exam has a marking scheme where each correct answer in Part A and Part B is awarded 2 marks, while in Part C, correct answers are awarded 4 marks. There is negative marking for incorrect answers in all parts, with a deduction of 25% of the allotted marks for each wrong answer. This means a deduction of 0.5 marks for incorrect answers in Part A and B, and a deduction of 1 mark for incorrect answers in Part C.

• Correct Answer: (i) Each correct answer in Part A and Part B is awarded 2 marks
  (ii) Each correct answer in Part C is awarded 4 Marks
• Incorrect Answer: (i) Deduction of 0.5 marks for incorrect answers in Part A and B
  (ii) Deduction of 1 mark for incorrect answers in Part C.
