BSF Constable Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for Group B (Sub Inspector) & Group C (Constable & Head Constable) posts has been discussed below along with other details as mentioned in BSF Recruitment Notification 2023. The minimum qualifying marks for the written tests is 35 % for Gen/OBC/EWS category and 30 % for SC/ST category.

BSF Constable  Exam Pattern 2023

1. The questions will be asked in bilingual languages (English & Hindi).
2. The duration of the test will be 2 hours (120 minutes).
3. There will be 4 parts in BSF written test for Constable Tradesman posts.
4. There would be 100 questions for 1 mark each.

BSF PMT Standards

Physical measurement will be carried out by the selection board to assess the height, weight and chest of candidates

Weight: Proportionate to height as per medical standards.

BSF PET Standards

Note- Ex-Servicemen candidates are not required to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Ex-Servicemen candidates are required to fulfil the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) prescribed for the applied post.

BSF Constable Syllabus 2023

The candidates have to prepare for the online exam as per the BSF Syllabus mentioned in the notification. The post-wise syllabus has been provided by the authority for General Knowledge & Awareness, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, and Trade Awareness.

BSF Constable 2023 Salary

The salary for BSF Constable Tradesman posts is as per pay level 3 and the pay scale is Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100. Besides basic pay scale, the candidates will be given allowances and other benefits.

BSF Recruitment 2023 Admit Card

The candidates who have applied for BSF Recruitment 2023 Exam will be issued with a BSF hall ticket around 10 to 15 days before the exam date. Border Security Force releases admit card/call letter for each stage of the BSF Recruitment. The candidates have to download their admit cards and carry a printout along with them to the exam hall.

BSF Recruitment 2023 Result

Border Security Force’s results for each stage will be uploaded with the names & roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified for the stage and are shortlisted for the next stage.
