BHEL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2023

To apply for the BHEL Apprentice Recruitment 2023, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) for the respective posts. Candidates must ensure to attach all the necessary documents while completing the BHEL Application Form 2023. The approval of the candidature will be given only if all the sets of the BHEL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria are fulfilled by the applicant. BHEL Apprentice Educational Qualification

The Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) has decided to set a certain field of eligibility criteria for Graduate, Technician, and Trade Apprentice posts. The educational qualifications that a candidate must possess are:

• Graduate Apprentice: As specified above with a minimum of 70% marks for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates and a minimum of 60% marks for SC/ST Candidates, from a Government recognized Institution/University. Candidates who have completed their Degree courses in 2021, 2022 & 2023 will only be eligible for applying in apprenticeship training in 2023. Candidates who have completed Degree through Distance Learning / Part Time / Correspondence/Sandwich courses shall not be considered for apprenticeship training in BHEL
• Trade Apprentice: High School Pass and ITI pass as a Regular Full-Time candidate of the last three years, from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute. Candidates who have completed their ITI course in the years 2021, 2022 & 2023 will ONLY be eligible for applying in apprenticeship training in 2023. Candidates who have completed ITI through Distance Learning / part-time / Correspondence/Sandwich courses shall not be considered for apprenticeship training in BHEL.
• Technician Apprentice: High School Pass and Diploma pass as a regular full-time candidate of the last three years, from Govt. a recognized institute, with minimum 70% marks for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates and minimum 60% marks for SC/ST Candidates. Candidates who have completed their Diploma courses in 2021, 2022 & 2023 will only be eligible for applying in apprenticeship training in 2023. Candidates who have completed a Diploma through Distance Learning / Part-time / Correspondence/Sandwich courses shall not be considered for apprenticeship training in BHEL.

BHEL Apprentice Age Limit

The Age Limit specified by the Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) is between 18 to 27 years.

BHEL Apprentice Selection Procedure 2023

BHEL Apprentice Selection will be based on an assessment test of all eligible candidates, who fulfill the conditions of the notification. Eligible candidates based on marks secured in the qualifying examination i.e., the graduation shall be called for the assessment test. A merit list will be drawn based on the scores obtained by the candidates in the assessment test. In case of tie-in marks at the selection stage, candidates who scored higher marks in the Diploma will be preferred, followed by candidates older in age. The Merit List will be prepared after the closure of the BHEL Apprentice Recruitment Online process which is about to end on 01st December 2023.
