The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is responsible for hiring eligible candidates for various Group C and D posts through a Common Eligibility Test (CET). To ace the exam, candidates need to thoroughly prepare for every topic thoroughly. The question paper shall be of the level of senior secondary education (i.e.10+2 level/equivalent) for Group C posts and of the level of secondary education (Matric level) in case of Group D posts.

Haryana CET Group C Exam Pattern 2025

The Haryana CET written examination is conducted as an offline OMR-based examination, including 100 questions carrying 1 mark each. The detailed exam pattern for the Group C examination is provided below.

1. The exam will include a total of 100 questions.
2. The duration of the HSSC CET Exam is 1 hour 45 minutes.
3. The question paper will be in both English & Hindi languages (Bilingual).
4. There shall not be any negative marking for wrong answers.
5. Any unattempted question will deduct 1 mark. If you are not confident for the answer, mark fifth option.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 

• General Category – 50%
• Reserved Category (both vertical and horizontal) – 40%

Haryana CET Group D Exam Pattern 2025

The common eligibility test for Group D posts will include a total of 100 questions, and each question carries 1 mark. All questions shall be compulsory. Question paper shall be Bilingual (English & Hindi) and an offline (OMR based) written examination will be held. The detailed exam pattern is provided in the points and table below.

1. There shall not be any negative marking for wrong or blank answers in the HSSC Group D exam.
2. In case a candidate does not wish to attempt a question, he/she will need to fill in the fifth circle/bubble in the OMR sheet. Failure to do so shall result in a deduction of one mark.
3. The Haryana CET Group D exam will be conducted for a total of 100 marks, including multiple-choice questions.
4. The exam will be conducted for a total duration of  1 hour 45 minutes.
