The Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab (PSSSB / SSSB) has released a public notice announcing the much-awaited recruitment drive for the post of Craft Instructor (various trades) under the Punjab Government. PSSSB Craft Instructor Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Candidates are generally expected to hold a National Trade Certificate (NTC) / ITI Diploma or Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT, along with a Craftsman Instructor Training (CITS) certificate or equivalent from NCVT/CTI, as is typically required for Craft Instructor posts across Indian states. Some trades may additionally require a diploma/degree in the relevant engineering discipline.

Experience: Prior teaching/training or relevant industry experience in the specific trade is often preferred or mandatory, though exact duration will be specified trade-wise in the detailed notification.

Punjabi Language: Candidates must have passed Punjabi at least up to the Matriculation level.

Age Limit: Candidates must fall in the age group of 18 to 37 years as of the cut-off date, with standard age relaxations for SC/BC/PwD/Ex-servicemen and other reserved categories as per Punjab Government rules.
