UP CNET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Before applying online, candidates must check the eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Sc. Nursing Course. The candidate’s eligibility will be determined in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates who have passed the 12th class and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together and passed in English individually from any recognised board.
• Candidates who belong to the SC/ST/OBC category must obtain a mark in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together that shall be 40%.
• English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in B.Sc. Nursing.
• Candidates are also eligible from the state Open School recognised by the state government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognised by the central government, having Science subject and English only.

Age Limit (as on 31/12/2026)

Candidates’ minimum age should not be less than 17 years for admission in B.Sc. Nursing in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Uttar Pradesh.
