The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, is going to conduct the UP CENT 2026 Exam to select candidates for admissions to Nursing courses in the state, such as B.Sc. UP CNET Previous Year Paper Analysis: Difficulty Level

UP CNET 2026 Exam Structure

There are 5 subjects in UP CNET, which include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Nursing Aptitude. The exam is conducted offline in pen-and-paper mode. The language of the exam is English and Hindi. The UP CNET exam pattern 2026 is given below:

  • The questions are asked in MCQ format.
  • There are a total of 120 questions from all the 5 subjects.
  • The maximum marks of the exam are 120.
  •  Each question carries 1 mark.
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • The total duration of the exam is 140 minutes.
  • From each subject, 24 questions are asked.

Note: Candidates must meet the minimum qualifying marks in the exam as per their category. For the general category, it is 50%, but for the general-PwD category, it is 45%. For SC/ST/OBC and the PwD in these categories, it is 40%.
