TS DEECET Notification 2026 Out, Exam Date & Registration Form

Telangana School Education Department has officially released the TG DEECET 2026 Notification
for admissions into Teacher Training Certificate (TTC) courses, commonly known as TS/TG DEECET 2026 (Telangana Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test). Candidates aspiring to make their carrer in the teaching field in Telangana state can apply online for TS DEECET till 15th April 2026. TS DEECET Exam is scheduled for 21st and 22nd May 2026.

TS DEECET 2026 Exam 2026

TG DEECET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Department of School Education,
Telangana, for admission into D.El.Ed. and DPSE courses offered by various government and private institutions in the state. It serves as the single gateway through which thousands of aspiring teachers every year enter the teaching profession at the grassroots level.

TS DEECET Admission 2026- Highlights

Candidates are invited to apply online for D.EI.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) and D.P.S.E. (Diploma in Pre-School Education) under TG DEECET-2026 Exam for admission into a two-year course in the Govt. DIETs / Private unaided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (D.El.Ed) (including Minority and Non- Minority) in the State of Telangana for the academic year Batch 2026-2027.

TS DEECET Notification 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Only the candidates who fulfill the required eligibility criteria as mentioned by the commission are eligible to apply for the TS DEECET Examination 2026.

Educational Qualification

• The candidate should have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent, as decided by the TG DEECET Committee, to appear at the TG DEECET-2026.
• Candidates should possess Telugu / Urdu as a medium at SSC / Intermediate or Telugu / Urdu as a first language at SSC or a second language at Intermediate.
• Polytechnic Candidates are not eligible.
• Urdu Fazil, Certificate holders are not eligible.
• Rajiv Gandhi IIIT and Intermediate pass from TG Open Schools and National Open School. Candidates are eligible.
• The candidates who possess an additional language certificate are not eligible (single Language not eligible).

Age Limit

Candidates must be 17 years of age as on 1st September of the year of admission. There shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.Ed /D.P.S.E. Programme.

The online form-filling process for admissions into Teacher Training Certificate (TTC) courses is ongoing at the official website https://deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in/. Candidates are advised to complete their application form carefully, as providing incorrect information leads to the rejection of the form. Make sure to complete the application before 15th April 2026 to avoid last-minute technical glitches.

TS DEECET Notification 2026 Application Fee

While completing the TS DEECET Application Form 2026, candidates have to pay an application fee as per their category. The application form without paying the application fee will not be accepted under any circumstances.

TS TTC Exam Pattern 2026

TGDEECET-2026 shall be conducted online, as per the medium opted by the
candidate, in multiple sessions on 21st and 22nd May 2026.

• D.EI.Ed is offered in three media i.e. Telugu, English, and Urdu. The candidates opting for any particular medium (Telugu /English / Urdu) shall select their option in the online application process
• D.P.S.E. Programme is offered only in English Medium.
