To be eligible, candidates must hold a 4-year or 3-year full-time regular degree for Graduate Apprenticeship, or a 3-year full-time regular diploma for Technician Apprenticeship in the relevant discipline. Educational Qualification

The educational qualification for SECL Apprentice recruitment varies with the type of apprentice post:

1. Graduate Apprentice: Candidates must have a 4-year Engineering degree or a 3-year General Graduation degree, respectively, from a government-recognised institute.
2. Technician Apprentice: Candidates must have done a 3-year Diploma in a relevant engineering branch.

Age Limit

Steps to Apply Online for SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2026

1. Open your internet browser and visit the SECL Apprenticeship Portal at https://apprenticeship.seclcil.in/login.php.
2. Now begin with the registration process.
3. At first, do “New User Registration.” In this, fill in the registration form with personal details, mobile number, email, and password. Then click on the agreement checkbox and Submit.
4. The next step is the login procedure. In this, enter your username, password, and captcha. If candidates have forgotten their password, they can retrieve it by entering their username, Registered Aadhar Number, and New Password.
5. Next is Application Form Submission, which involves 4 parts.
6. After filling in all details, take a printout of your confirmation page.

Part 1: Basic Information- Enter your communication and permanent address details.
Part 2: Educational Details- Enter your SSC, HSSC, and Graduation details. Upload each of these certificates in PDF format of size less than 1 MB. Also, enter your NATS ID and Date of Registration.
Part 3: Upload Documents- In this part, upload your photograph, signature, and Aadhaar Card in the specific format.

Part 4: Bank Details- Enter your Bank name, Branch name, IFSC Code, Account number, account holder’s name, and upload the first page of the bank passbook, whose PDF size shall be less than 1 MB.

SECL Apprentice Selection Process 2026

SECL Apprentice selection process is covered under 2 stages of merit-based shortlisting and document verification.

1. Merit-based Shortlisting: In this stage, candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance. The marks that they had obtained in ITI/Diploma/Degree are considered to prepare the merit list.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from the previous stage are called for the document verification. In this, candidates verify their educational certificate, identity proof, and other necessary documents. Any mismatch in the documents will result in the cancellation of the candidature.

SECL Apprentice Salary 2026

Candidates selected under SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 are entitled to a fixed monthly stipend. But the monthly salary varies with their education level.
