WBMSC Recruitment 2026 for Head Master, Clerk & Librarian Posts, Notification Soon

The West Bengal Madrasah Service Commission (WBMSC) has issued an official recruitment notice for Advt No. WBMSC/Recruitment Notice/07/2026, announcing a significant selection process for posts in Non-Government Aided Madrasahs across West Bengal. The Commission has notified the conduct of three separate State Level Selection Tests:

1. 8th State Level Selection Test — for the posts of Head Master, Head Mistress, and Superintendent (2026)
2. 2nd State Level Selection Test (Non-Teaching) — Librarian, 2026
3. 2nd State Level Selection Test (Non-Teaching) — Clerk, 2026

The selection of candidates who will be applying successfully for the recruitment will be based on a multiple-stage selection process, which will include a Preliminary Examination, a Main Examination, a Computer Typing Test, a Computer Proficiency Test, and an Interview.

WBMSC Eligibility Criteria 2026

The candidates who are willing to apply for the recruitment must make sure they fulfill the required eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit as detailed below

Educational Qualification

(A) Essential:

• Candidates must have passed Alim / High Madrasah / Alim (Senior Secondary) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution.
• Candidates must have knowledge of the Bengali language. However, this condition is not mandatory for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali.

(B) Desirable:

• Candidates having higher qualifications in the Arabic language will be given preference.
• Candidates can check the detailed information in the official notification released by the West Bengal Madrasah Service Commission.

The selection of candidates who will be applying successfully for the recruitment will be based on the following stages.

Typing Test & Computer Test

Computer Typing Test – 10 Marks

• Candidates will have to complete a specific typing task within the given time.
• Accuracy and speed will both be evaluated during the test.

Computer Proficiency Test – 10 Marks

• Candidates will be tested on MS Word, MS Excel, and basic computer operations.
• This test will evaluate the candidate’s practical computer skills.
