IB MTS Tier 1 Result 2026 Marks Normalisation

THE IB MTS exam was conducted on 27th February 2026 in multiple shifts. The cut-off score is be decided after normalisation of the score according to the difficulty level of the exam. The raw marks of the exam may be increased and decreased after applying the normalisation.

Intelligence Bureau MTS Selection Process

THE IB MTS selection process consists of three stages: Tier 1 exam, Tier 2 exam, and interview/personality test. Candidates must clear each stage to be selected as an MTS in the Intelligence Bureau.

• Stage 1: In the first stage, an exam was conducted in CBT mode. There are 100 objective questions asked in this exam for 100 marks.
• Stage 2: Tier 2 exam will be conducted in the 2nd stage, and this exam will be conducted in offline mode, and descriptive questions will be asked in this stage.
• Stage 3: Shortlisted candidates in Tier 2 exam will be called for the Document Interview/Personality Test.
