KVS NVS Admit Card 2026 Out Today @cbse.gov.in, Download Link & Steps

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on behalf of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will release the KVS NVS Admit Card 2026 on 8th January 2026 (today). The admit cards will be released online for all teaching and non-teaching posts at the official portals of KVS, NVS and CBSE. More than 15 lakh candidates are going to appear for the exam, which is scheduled for 10th & 11th January 2026 in two shifts each day across multiple exam centres nationwide.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) have announced a total of 15762 vacancies for PRT, TGT, PGT, Librarian, MTS and administrative roles. KVS NVS Admit Card 2026 will be released only for the candidates who have submitted their applications for the said vacancies. KVS NVS Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2026

The exam pattern for KVS and NVS is common for all posts (except for Multi-Tasking Staff). The duration of exam is 2 hours (120 minutes), and candidates have to attempt 100 questions. Each correct answer is marked for 3 marks, and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

Things to be Carried to the KVS NVS Exam Hall

  1. Candidates need to carry their printed KVS NVS Admit Card 2026 with a clear photograph.
  2. A valid original photo ID proof (plus one photocopy), such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN Card, or Passport
  3. Also carry 2–3 recent passport-size photographs, preferably the same as used in the application form.
