Till now, the admit cards are released for the candidates with an exam scheduled till 5th December 2025. Candidates who applied for CEN 08/2024 (Level-1 / Group D posts) can now download their hall ticket from the official RRB portal. The admit card is being issued 4 days before each candidate’s exam date, and it contains the exam date, shift, reporting time, exam centre address, and important instructions. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) is conducting the Computer-Based Exam to recruit eligible candidates for 32438 vacancies for various posts from 27th November 2025 to 16th January 2026. The exam is scheduled for over 32 days for around 10822423 candidates who have applied for the exam. Now, the board is issuing RRB Group D Admit Card 2025 to candidates whose applications were accepted.

How to Download RRB Group D Admit Card 2025?

Candidates are required to download their RRB admit card 2025 from the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board of their respective region. 

To download his/her Railway RRB Group D Admit Card 2025, a candidate must have:

• • Username/Registration Number
• • Password/Date of Birth

By filling in these two requisites, candidates are directed to the admit card page. All candidates are required to download their admit card, take a printout of the same, and present it at the venue of the examination as proof of their eligibility for the examination.

RRB Group D Exam Timings 2025

Most probably, the CBT Exam for Group D (CEN 08/2024) will be conducted in three shifts on each scheduled exam date for over 32 days in 96 shifts. The exam duration is 90 minutes, and the shift timings can be as discussed below. 

What documents do I need to carry with my RRB Group D Admit Card?

For the RRB Group D exam 2025, candidates need to carry the following documents along with the admit card to the exam centre:

1. A printed copy of the RRB Group D Admit Card downloaded from the official website.
2. A valid government-issued photo identification proof, such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
3. If applicable, the exam city intimation slip issued by RRB.
4. Recent passport-sized photographs (as per the specifications mentioned in the admit card instructions).

RRB Group D Selection Process

The following stages are included in the recruitment process for RRB Group D. 

1. Computer-Based Examination:

Only those candidates who clear the RRB Group D CBT cut-off, as specified by the RRB, will be declared qualified in the RRB Group D 2025 CBT Exam. Candidates who have obtained marks in the exam more than the RRB Cut Off for Group D recruitment will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Among the qualified candidates, three times the number of vacancies in the order of merit will be called for the RRB Group D PET. Details for the PET are published along with, or a few days after the declaration of the RRB Group D result. Male candidates are expected to run a certain number of metres in a given time in one chance. The distance to be covered by female candidates is bit different.

3. Document Verification / Medical:

The candidate who will clear the CBT and PET will be called for document verification. The candidate should be medically fit in all respects and meet the visual standards as specified by the Railway Recruitment Board.

RRB Group D CBT Exam Pattern 2025

Railway Administration reserves the right to conduct the CBT in either single or multi-stage mode. Candidates qualifying in the CBT shall have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It will be followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. There shall be a negative marking for 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.

The minimum percentage of marks for shortlisting for UR is 40%, EWS is 40%, OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST is 30%.
