How to Download RRB Group D CBT Admit Card 2026?

Candidates are required to download their RRB admit card 2026 from the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board of their respective region. 

To download his/her Railway RRB Group D Admit Card 2026, a candidate must have:

• Username/Registration Number
• Password/Date of Birth

By filling in these two requisites, candidates are directed to the admit card page. All candidates are required to download their admit card, take a printout of the same, and present it at the venue of the examination as proof of their eligibility for the examination.

RRB Group D Exam Timings 2026

Most probably, the CBT Exam for Group D (CEN 08/2024) will be conducted in three shifts on each scheduled exam date for over 32 days in 96 shifts. The exam duration is 90 minutes, and the shift timings can be as discussed below. 

What documents do I need to carry with my RRB Group D Admit Card?

For the RRB Group D exam 2026, candidates need to carry the following documents along with the admit card to the exam centre:

1. A printed copy of the RRB Group D Admit Card downloaded from the official website.
2. A valid government-issued photo identification proof, such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
3. If applicable, the exam city intimation slip issued by RRB.
4. Recent passport-sized photographs (as per the specifications mentioned in the admit card instructions).

RRB Group D Selection Process

The following stages are included in the recruitment process for RRB Group D. 

1. Computer-Based Examination:

Only those candidates who clear the RRB Group D CBT cut-off, as specified by the RRB, will be declared qualified in the RRB Group D 2026 CBT Exam. Candidates who have obtained marks in the exam more than the RRB Cut Off for Group D recruitment will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Among the qualified candidates, three times the number of vacancies in the order of merit will be called for the RRB Group D PET. Details for the PET are published along with, or a few days after the declaration of the RRB Group D result. Male candidates are expected to run a certain number of metres in a given time in one chance. The distance to be covered by female candidates is bit different.

3. Document Verification / Medical:

The candidate who will clear the CBT and PET will be called for document verification. The candidate should be medically fit in all respects and meet the visual standards as specified by the Railway Recruitment Board.

RRB Group D CBT Exam Pattern 2026

Railway Administration reserves the right to conduct the CBT in either single or multi-stage mode. Candidates qualifying in the CBT shall have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It will be followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. There shall be a negative marking for 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.

The minimum percentage of marks for shortlisting for UR is 40%, EWS is 40%, OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST is 30%.
