BSF Tradesmen Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process for Tradesmen consists of multiple stages as mentioned below:
Stage 1: Physical Test- Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test (if applicable)
Stage 2: Written Exam – The Objective-type written exam will be conducted, which covers various subjects. Candidates must qualify for this exam to be called for document verification and medical examination
Stage 3: Document verification, Trade Test – In this stage, candidates’ trade test as per posts will be conducted, and documents will be verified by the exam authority.
Stage 4: Medical Examination – After passing this stage, they will be assigned a hospital where a full body check-up will be done.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which is qualifying in nature. The PET will be held at selected centers using RFID technology, digital machines, and CCTV recording. To move to the next stage, candidates must pass all events in the PET/PST. If a candidate fails in any event, they will be disqualified from the rest of the recruitment process.
