BSF Tradesmen Revised Vacancies

The vacancies for BSF Tradesmen have been revised, with a total of 48 additional posts added in Uttar Pradesh, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan. BSF Constable Tradesmen Recruitment 2025 Eligibility

BSF Tradesmen Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for Tradesmen consists of multiple stages as mentioned below:

Stage 1: Physical Test-  Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test (if applicable)

Stage 2: Written Exam – The Objective-type written exam will be conducted, which covers various subjects. Candidates must qualify for this exam to be called for document verification and medical examination

Stage 3: Document verification, Trade Test – In this stage, candidates’ trade test as per posts will be conducted, and documents will be verified by the exam authority.

Stage 4: Medical Examination – After passing this stage, they will be assigned a hospital where a full body check-up will be done.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

• Height, chest (for males), and other physical standards are checked.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which is qualifying in nature. The PET will be held at selected centers using RFID technology, digital machines, and CCTV recording. To move to the next stage, candidates must pass all events in the PET/PST. If a candidate fails in any event, they will be disqualified from the rest of the recruitment process.

Trade Test

Candidates who applied for other posts will not have to go through trade tests. The trade test for the following posts is as follows:

BSF Tradesmen Application Fee 2025

The application fee is Rs. 100 and the examination fee is Rs. 50 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, while SC/ST/female candidates are exempted. Candidates must pay the fee online using Net Banking, UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or the nearest authorised common service centre.

Steps to Apply for BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2025

Candidates can apply for BSF Recruitment 2025 by following these simple steps:

1. Visit the official website of the Border Security Force, www.rectt.bsf.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the “Current Recruitment Openings” section and search for “Constable(Tradesmen) Advertisement Number CT_trade_07/2025”.
3. Then click on “Apply Here” and a new page with the application form appears on the screen.
4. After clicking the Apply online link, enter your details like name, email, address, educational qualifications, and other required details.
5. Upload all the required documents, your photo, signature, educational certificates, and category certificate.
6. Complete the process by paying the application fee. Pay the fee using online modes like UPI, net banking, or debit/credit card.
7. After the complete submission, download and print the application form.

Candidates can upload the following documents, which are mandatory to upload with the online application form:

• 10th Pass Certificate to prove educational qualification and date of birth
• Trade Course Certificate in the respective trade, as required for the post

Application Correction Window Details

The application correction form for BSF Tradesman will start from 24th August 2025 to 26th August 2025 (till 11 pm)

• Only candidates who submitted the application and paid the fee on time are eligible to make corrections.
• The correction fee for the exam is Rs. 100.
• The Online payment mode is Net Banking / Debit or Credit Card / CSC centre.
• If the correction fee is not paid, the form will be marked “Incomplete” and will be rejected.
• Only one-time correction is allowed; no further changes after this window.
• No changes will be accepted via post, email, or in-person requests after 26th August 2025.

BSF Tradesmen Salary Structure

Appointed candidates will get a salary range of Rs. 21700 to Rs. 69100 based on Pay Level 3 as per 7th CPC. Along with this, they will get extra perks and allowances like House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Dearness Allowance, and more.
