AIIMS NORCET 9 Eligibility Criteria 2025
To be eligible to appear for the NORCET 9, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as specified by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Below, we have mentioned the eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled by the candidates in terms of educational qualification and age limit as mentioned in the notice.
Educational Qualification
Candidates can check the educational qualification that must be fulfilled by them as mentioned below.
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council recognized Institute or University
OR - B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University
AND - Registered as Nurses & Midwives with State/Indian Nursing Council
OR - Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council
- Registered as Nurses & Midwives in State/Indian Nursing Council
- Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50-bedded Hospital after acquiring the above educational qualification
Age Limit (11/08/2025)
As per the notice released by the AIIMS, candidates must have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 30 years to be eligible to appear for the NORCET 9. The selection of candidates for Nursing Officer posts is based on candidates’ performance in the Preliminary and Mains examinations. Both stages will be held online computer-based mode. Candidates who qualify for the Stage 1 exam will be called to appear for the Stage II exam.
