Common Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical & Allied Sciences Undergraduate Courses (JENPAS(UG)) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for the selection of candidates for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate Professional, Vocational, and General Degree Courses in various Colleges/ Institutes in the State of West Bengal for the academic session 2025-26.

JENPAS UG 2025 Exam Date Out

As per the notification PDF, the JENPAS (UG) Exam 2025 will be conducted on 18th October 2025 (Sunday), and only registered candidates will be eligible to appear for the examination. The exam will be held in 2 shifts from 11 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 3:30 pm The admit cards with complete details for the entrance exam will be released on 10th October 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for JENPAS UG 2025

Nationality

• Candidates must be citizens of India
• Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.

Educational Qualification

To be eligible to apply online for the JENPAS(UG) exam, candidates must have passed, OR must be appearing in 2025 in class 12 in (10+2).
The educational qualifications for admission to the JENPAS(UG)-2025 exam are as follows:

• Only Female candidates are eligible for admission in B.Sc. Nursing course in Govt. colleges under JENPAS(UG)-2025
• Female candidates are eligible for admission in B.Sc. Nursing course in Pvt. Colleges under JENPAS(UG)-2025. However, there are few Pvt. Colleges meant for Male candidates only
• Both Male & Female candidates are eligible for admission in all other courses except B.Sc. Nursing in both Govt. and Pvt. Colleges under JENPAS(UG)-2025.

Age Limit (as on 31/12/2025)

• Candidate’s age must be at least 17  years as on 31.12.2025 to be eligible to apply online for the JENPAS UG 2025 exam.

JENPAS UG Exam 2025 Application Fee

For the sucessfully completion of the JENPAS UG Application Form 2025, candidates have to pay an application fee as per candidates category. Examination Fees will be paid online by Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI/QR Code only.

How to Fill JENPAS 2025 Application Form

To submit application forms, candidates must have a stable internet connection throughout the registration process. Follow the step-by-step procedure discussed below;

Step 1: Registration

• Open the official website of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB)- https://wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug/ or https://wbjeeb.in/jenpas-ug/
• Now click on the link “JENPAS UG 2025 Application” and then Click on “New Registration”.
• Enter all the personal details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, and more as asked.
• Now create a strong password and choose a security question and answer of your choice and remember that for future reference.
• Review all the details carefully and click on “Submit”.
• You will also receive the application number and password via SMS and email that will be used for the further registration process.

Step 2: Login

• Go back to the login page.
• Enter your Registration ID/Application Number and the password you created.
• Click on “Login” or “Apply Now”.

Step 3: Fill the Application Form

• Once logged in, you will need to fill in the remaining details in the application form. This may include:
• Personal details (religion, nationality, category, PwD status, family income status, etc.)
• Educational qualifications (Class 10th and 12th details).
• Select the paper(s) you want to appear for: Paper-I only, Paper-II only, or both.
• Choose your preferred exam zones (centers).

Step 4: Upload Documents

• Upload scanned copies of the necessary documents as per the specifications mentioned in the official notification. These usually include:
• Recent passport-size color photograph in JPG/JPEG format (10 kb – 200 kb).
• Signature in JPG/JPEG format (4 kb – 30 kb).
• Other documents like Class 10th and 12th mark sheets, domicile certificates, category certificates (if applicable), and  EWS/PwD certificates (if applicable) in PDF format (50 kb – 300 kb).

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

• Pay the application fee online through the available payment methods (Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card).
• The fee amount will depend on the number of papers you are appearing for and your category.
• As the Payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation.

Step 6: Final Submission and Confirmation

• As the payment process is complete, recheck your details filled in the application form and the uploaded document carefully.
• Click on the “Final Submit” button.
• Once the application is submitted, you will see a confirmation page.
• Download and take multiple printouts of the confirmation page for your records.

JENPAS UG Exam Pattern 2025

• The JENPAS UG Exam consists of two papers, namely, Paper I and Paper II.
• Paper-II is for admission in the BHA course only, and Paper-I is for other courses.
• All questions will be of Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) type.
• The time duration for each paper is 1½ hours.
• The questions will be in both English and the Bengali language (except Basic English, Logical Reasoning, and General Knowledge).
• As per the marking scheme, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer in category 1 and 2 marks will be awared in category 2.
• There is negative marking in category 1; 1/4 mark will be deducted, and there is no negative marking in category 2.

JENPAS UG Syllabus 2025

JENPAS UG exam includes two papers. Paper 1 for all courses except the BHA and Paper 2 for the BHA Course.

• JENPAS UG Syllabus 2025 for Paper I (for all courses except BHA) – Questions will be based on the 11th and 12th standard syllabus and curriculum of recognized Boards/Councils in India.
• JENPAS UG Syllabus 2025 for Paper II (for BHA) – The questions for Physical Science and Mathematics will be based on the 10th standard syllabus of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, as well as other equivalent and recognized boards and councils in India. Additionally, the content for General Knowledge, Basic English, and Logical Reasoning will align with the 12th standard curriculum..

JENPAS UG Counselling 2025

The JENPAS UG 2025 counselling process will be conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) after the results of the entrance exam are declared.
