JENPAS Syllabus 2026 and Exam Pattern, Syllabus Topics

The WBJEEB is the conducting body of the JENPAS Exam. The WBJEEB released the syllabus for the Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Science exam. JENPUS UG Exam Pattern 2026

The JENPAS Exam consists of 2 Papers, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2. Below, we have discussed the exam pattern for both papers.

JENPUS UG Exam Pattern 2026 for Paper 1

Paper 1 has a total of 100 questions worth 100 marks. The duration is 1.5 hours.

  • Physics: 15 questions in Category 1 and 5 in Category 2, for a total of 20 questions worth 20 marks.
  • Chemistry: 15 questions in Category 1 and 5 in Category 2, for a total of 20 questions worth 20 marks.
  • Biology: 15 questions in Category 1 and 5 in Category 2, for a total of 20 questions worth 20 marks.
  • Basic English: 20 questions in Category 1, for a total of 20 questions worth 20 marks.
  • Logical Reasoning: 20 questions in Category 1, for a total of 20 questions worth 20 marks.

Marking Scheme for Paper 1:

  • Category 1: 1 mark for each correct answer. A deduction of 1/4 mark for each incorrect answer.
  • Category 2: 2 marks for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in this category.

JENPUS UG Exam Pattern 2026 for Paper 2

Paper 2 has a total of 100 questions worth 115 marks. The duration is also 1.5 hours.

  • Physics: 25 questions in Category 1 and 5 in Category 2, for a total of 30 questions worth 35 marks.
  • Chemistry: 10 questions in Category 1 and 5 in Category 2, for a total of 15 questions worth 20 marks.
  • Biology: 10 questions in Category 1 and 5 in Category 2, for a total of 15 questions worth 20 marks.
  • Basic English: 20 questions in Category 1, for a total of 20 questions worth 20 marks.
  • Logical Reasoning: 20 questions in Category 1, for a total of 20 questions worth 20 marks.

Marking Scheme for Paper 2:

  • Category 1: 1 mark for each correct answer. A deduction of 1/4 mark for each incorrect answer.
  • Category 2: 2 marks for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in this category.
