About TNSET Exam

The Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET) is a state-level exam conducted every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor posts in universities/colleges of Tamil Nadu. To qualify for the TN SET Exam, candidates have to score marks as set by the authority. The minimum qualifying marks in the TN SET exam for the General category are 40% marks, while OBC, SC, ST, and PwD candidates need 35% marks.

What after TN SET Results?

The Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET) is conducted every year in Tamil Nadu state to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor posts in universities/colleges of Tamil Nadu. The candidate who qualifies for the SET would be eligible for being appointed as Assistant Professor in Universities / Colleges, provided he/she fulfills other academic qualifications prescribed for the Assistant Professor post by the U.G.C. and is selected by the respective Selection Committee.
