SSC JHT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The aspiring candidates have to fulfil the eligibility criteria below for the posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, and Senior Hindi Translator as mentioned in the SSC JHT Notification 2025.
Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
(i) a citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iv) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
Educational Qualifications

Age Limit (as on 26/06/2025)
The age limit of the eligible candidates must be 18 to 30 years as on 01/08/2025, i.e., candidates born not before 02-08-1995 and not later than 01-08-2007. For the post of Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF, candidates’ age must be between 18 to 30 years as on 26/06/2025, i.e., candidates born not before 25-06-1995 and not later than 26-06-2007. - You get a ‘Login to Apply for the Examination’ prompt. Click on ‘OK’.
- You are redirected back to the SSC homepage, where you find the Login section. If you are a new user or haven’t registered your account, then click on ‘Register Now’ and enter all your details on the next page to generate your registration number and password, else login with your pre-registered details.
- Now, fill out the Application/Registration form very carefully. All the details filled in should be correct.
- Then, attach the required scanned documents and finally review the detailed filled-in application form.
